Dr. Bari Schwartz
Dr. Bari Schwartz, Psy.D. is a compassionate and experienced licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist. With a focus on working with children, adolescents, and families, and providing evidence-based treatment, Dr. Bari brings a unique combination of skills to her practice. Her practice is rooted in a cognitive-behavioral model, allowing her to effectively address a wide range of challenges. She also incorporates mindfulness techniques and a values-driven approach to help children and teens develop greater self-awareness and emotional regulation, fostering personal growth and fulfillment.
Dr. Bari recognizes the crucial role parents and caregivers play in a child's development and incorporates that into the services she offers. By providing caregivers with effective strategies and guidance, she empowers them to navigate challenging behaviors, strengthen their relationships with their children, and promote a positive family dynamic.
Currently, Dr. Bari holds a full-time position as the Lower School Clinical Director at The Quad Preparatory School, where she served as Chief Psychologist and completed her internship and postdoctoral training. This experience provided her with invaluable insights into working with twice-exceptional (2e) children—those who possess exceptional gifts and talents and also face social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that impact their learning and overall school success.
